 = The meeting convener wants to pose what he thinks is a very intriguing question, while wants to sound humble, so he starts like this, hoping it's clear the question is actually very smart. Actually, the question really really is basic and stupid...

"Maybe I suggest we leave it as a lower priority point for the moment."
 = forget about your idea, zero chance I will allow it to be used, ever.

"Thanks for this very important update, I think I will need more time to digest all the information provided, but it looks like a very
promising set of results we should definitely consider..."
 = I don't understand this smart PhD student at all, and no way I will
look at this again nor we would include the study in the analysis.

"I don't have a strong opinion on that..."
 = I'm dying for a coffee

"Let's take that offline..."
 = let's exchange few emails on the issue until the matter gets forgotten.

"OK, thanks a lot, I think we really need to move on..."
 = shut up.

"Any-more-questions-if-not-than-let's-thank-all-the-speakers and..."
 = hopefully not, I need to pee since 3min before the meeting started 2h ago.
